Terms and conditions
Please be aware that every single piece of jewellery is made by hand and to order. Aside from some individual one-off pieces that are ready to ship, all items are produced only when required. Our belief is in jewellery of quality, made using age-old techniques, and that takes time. Your order therefore, will always be dispatched as soon as possible, however, some items may take a few weeks due to the handmade process, hallmarking etc. Bespoke designs are subject to longer turnaround times.
When ordering rings online it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have ordered the correct size. However, we will do our best to resolve any issues and do offer a resizing service as we understand mistakes can happen and finger sizes are changeable.
Postage
All orders are shipped via Royal Mail and are trackable and insured.
Each order will be dispatched as soon as possible but we cannot be held responsible for timings and delays, either in the UK or the destination country, due to the postal service, Customs, or strike action. You will be provided with a tracking number so that you may follow your orders journey.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A bespoke or customised order cannot be changed or cancelled once your deposit/payment has been paid. This is your agreement and commitment to the order. The deposit/payment will not be refunded should you choose to cancel the order once it has been confirmed and production is underway.
PAYMENT TERMS
A deposit of 50% is required for bespoke items as confirmation of your order before production can begin. At this point please be aware that you will be committed to the purchase of your design.
This is non-refundable.
The remaining 50% will then need to be paid in full before dispatch of the order.
Payment can be made by debit card, credit card or bank transfer.
Goods remain the property of Tamzin Macdonald Jewellery until paid for in full.
SALES AND RETURNS
We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied however, we are happy to offer an exchange or credit note, if the item is returned to us unworn in perfect condition, and in its original packaging within 21 working days of your receipt of the order. If you do wish to return an item, please contact us for further details.
We recommend that all returns be sent by an insured trackable delivery service as we are unable to accept responsibility for returned goods not reaching us. Postage for returns is the customers responsibility.
Unfortunately for hygiene reasons we cannot accept the return of earrings.
Sale items at a discounted price are not eligible for a refund.
Bespoke items and commissioned items are not eligible for a refund.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Pearls
Sometimes a pearl may become loose, as is the case with any jewellery that is worn and enjoyed. If pearls are exposed to chemicals, alcohol, perfume, or hand sanitising gel, the fixative used to adhere them to your jewellery may become compromised. If you experience this please contact us and we we will do our best to resolve your issue.
DAMAGE
If any products that we send you are damaged prior to delivery to you, or defective, we will repair or replace the products or refund the price paid by you, provided that you have not worn or used and damaged the products.
If a product is damaged or defective, we require that you tell us within 7 days of receipt of the products.
